“I Like the Way I See” – A Documentary about Richard Turner

Maksym and Richard

Maksym and Olga Sudarikov really wanted to meet and interview Richard Turner.

“At the end of 2019 (pre COVID times that we barely remember) my wife Olga and I watched the Dealt documentary. We were so moved and inspired by it that the very same night I found Richard’s email and asked him for the interview for my podcast. The next day Mr. Turner replied with the invitation. We were overjoyed when the legend himself invited us to visit him and his family in San Antonio. We decided to film the whole journey of meeting Richard. We had a talk about Richard’s life, his journey as a magician and all the lessons he learned.

Nowadays, there are so much unworthy content all over Internet, so we hoped that our video will give some home and inspiration for people around the world. That January weekend with Turner family all of us remember for the rest of our lives.”

Bruce Samboy, a retired Gaming Regulator for New York State, and editor of Richard’s upcoming autobiography, said:

“DEALT relied upon Richard’s family, friends, and fellow playing card experts to tell Richard’s story. Your video, on the other hand Maksym, focuses entirely on the lives of both Richard and Kim by encouraging them to tell their own stories, in their own words, in a relaxed setting. Your questions were terrific, too, giving the viewers a chance to really get to know Richard and Kim in a way that no other video ever has. I am certain that even folks who thought they knew everything about Richard Turner learned things that they did not know.”
